The club goes digital with the aim of bringing new content to fans, and will offer first team preseason through new platforms

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona have taken another step forward in the club's digitisation process, updating the RCD Espanyol website and creating a page for Espanyol Media.
The intention is to improve usability for all users, including a new platform for purchase enquiries and information.
The club have also created their first Video on Demand platform, where fans can watch, whenever they want, all video content: Live matches, event broadcasts, podcasts, features and news.
Thanks to this development, all first team preseason friendlies will be available on the new Espanyol Media TV website and App. Youth games and RCD Espanyol Femení will also be shown during the season.
Preseason can also be followed in China, thanks to this firm commitment to internationalisation and growth through digital platforms. RCD Espanyol were the first club to broadcast Juvenil and women's matches in Chinese.
Last season, Espanyol generated more than 900,000 views on YouTube, more than 65 million impressions on Twitter, an engagement of 134.09 (+20%) on Instagram and more than 11 million impressions on Facebook.
This is a first phase and a starting point for more actions that will be carried out in the coming months, the purpose of which is to offer quality service to supporters, expand the fanbase and generate new business opportunities.
